1. Purpose
The GLOW Candidate Incubator is dedicated to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and welcoming environment for aspiring local government candidates. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for all participants to ensure a collaborative and respectful space that upholds democratic values and integrity.
2. Values
Participants in the GLOW Candidate Incubator are expected to embody the following values:
Integrity: Act honestly and transparently in all dealings.

Inclusion: Foster an environment that is welcoming and accessible to people of all backgrounds.
Accountability: Take responsibility for your actions and words, and uphold your commitments and the GLOW Principles.
Collaboration: Work together constructively, valuing diverse perspectives. Our differences create possibilities that reach a wider range of communities, for systems-wide change that can shift people from all walks of life.
Climate advocacy: Supportive of the scientific evidence that climate change is real, human-induced and that we need to take urgent action.
3. Expected Behaviour
Treat all participants with dignity and respect, avoiding discrimination, harassment, or exclusionary behaviour. It's okay to not know things, or to get things wrong, as long as you're open to learning for next time.
